Noel Edmonds on POG - C4 5pm Wed 26/9

Ex-DoND contestant (show #992, 23 March 2009)

As has been advertised on the Paul O'Grady Show which I normally leave on after DOND has finished - :oops:

- Noel Edmonds will be appearing on today's show of POG - I've always wondered why Noel hasn't been on it before as both Noel and POG are on C4...

Anyway, not sure why he's on POG - normally people go on such chat shows to plug something like a new book / record etc. - the only thing I can think of is that he's going on to promote the Christmas nominations thing...

Isn't that on Sky Oblivion? Why would they be promoting that on C4?

It does seem to be common practice nowadays for programmes on satellite / digital to be promoted on terrestrial TV channels.

I've noticed that programmes on BBC and C4 are quite relaxed when it comes to advertising programmes on other TV channels... except where ITV is concerned - I don't think you'll very often find a BBC or C4 advertising an ITV programme... and vice versa.

BBC and C4 seem to be fairly linked, probably because both of them know that the BBC is always going to whoop C4's ass in terms of ratings, whereas ITV is rather competitive, which is why you don't often get BBC advertising ITV programmes and vice versa.

We got this months issue of Sky Mag, and there is a host of celebrtiys outside a limo and Noel looks sirusly odd.

As much as I like and admire Noel I don't know if I can stomach an hour of Paul O'Grady's shrill screeching in order to listen to what he has to say.

It was a good interview. I liked the play they did at the end and how Noel couldn't read the autocue because of the smoke, however, I think Noel would have been better as one of the trees, personally.

I saw this, it was funny, he remembered we only had 1 £250,000 win!!! :lol:

l saw it,thought the bit at the end was very funny.Noel couldnt stop laughing.it was best viewing all week.two progs with Noel in.talk about over exposure!you can never have too much of a good thing.

I do too, so you're not the only one! I didn't see PO'G today though, as I watched DOND on C4+1. Did Noel say anything else of interest?
