Noel Edmonds just mentioned on the Paul o Grady show that there about to film over 300 shows up till june! so im guessing Deal or No Deal is continueing up until June in 2008 or maybe even past then!

Looks like it - put it this way with the ratings still soaring (even though moving to Saturdays has so far turned out to be suicide), it won't finish anytime soon. And Channel 4 cannot afford to lose it - their most successful show ever!

Except for that other programme that I can't remember the name of. Big Brother or something?

If next year's turns out to be as disappointing as this year's, it won't be around for much longer though - so they should keep hold of it ay?

Then again, I don't want to see EITHER show finish!

And I'm not convinced I'd miss either... not BB anyway, the loss of DoND would be worse as it'd remind me of a time when it was good and seemed unassailable...

Channel 4 would struggle to find an equally effective replacement though, and DoND has a strong and loyal fanbase, so it probably does make sense to keep it. This may change though...

I say get rid of Big Brother immediately, the non entity one and of course the celebrity one, sick of it, haven't watched it for years now, but hate it from a far.

Celebrity Big Brother is no more. Big Brother in my honest opinion has one series left to regain its popularity after this year being a disappointment.

I can see Channel 4 losing Deal before it finishing - it can't finish with such huge success.

well I hope it is still on in 2 and a half years!! Maybe they need to take a years break though.

They'd have to have a 2-3 month break for me to really get back into it.

Just becuse you dont like something doesn't mean it should not exsit. They probbley wouldnt be Deal or No Deal without the worldwide success of the Big Brother brand.
