OK whats peoples opinion on the new opening of the show?

Which do you prefer?

The original - "a quarter of a million pounds 22 identical sealed boxes and no questions....except 1 deal or no deal?"

Or the new one -
"22 identical sealed boxes one of which holds a quarter of a million pounds( fire works 250k screen appears at back) its (insert day & month) deal or no deal."

I personally prefer the original they should have just added the 250k firework screen behind Noel as he says it.

The new speech makes no sense really and doesnt hold together so well.

New one all the way.. at least this one makes sense!

"no questions - except one.."..

Plus better for people in the audience to know when they're going to be on TV

If it were logical, it might have read... "No questions - except two..."

I'm not really bothered about the opening, but I much prefer the old one.

I'm guessing they changed it to get rid of 'no questions except one' thanks to the rise of Swap or No Swap... that or Noel could only think of 512 ways of saying it... eh. I'm not convinced either way. We'll probably forget the old speech in two months.

"Welcome to Watch or No Watch!!!!   "

Lol so funny!

But yeah, I think the date included is both OTT and appropriate; it's great to say what day it is on the show, but not the whole date!

Oh well!

The new one is better - old stuff get worn and repetitive.

I like the new opening of deal or no deal

The old one was good as well but got a little bit boring after a while

When I first heard the new opening tagline, I didn't like it, but I've kind of gotten used to it and don't mind it now.

I wouldn't say I have a preference between the two though.

I quite like the new tagline, but I do find it quite funny the way Noel turns to the camera and dramatically welcomes us to the show... I can't work out if it's supposed to be an ironic type thing, or whether they really were trying to go for the "serious" look - I suspect as time goes on, Noel will vary how he does it though and probably spin sideways or something... or do that strange thing he started doing with his hands for the old tagline...
