This week's poll is up, and despite the games all being fairly recent, it's quite a good selection!

Kelsie and Kerry from March and April respectively; then Maria and Sophie from July.

Will Maria's larger win than everyone else's guarantee her show will be shown? Or maybe you'll want to see the famous power cut and Noel cry: "Deal or No Deal; you can't take us off the screens!" - albeit the show's most emotional player ever!

Or maybe you want to see arguably one of the Banker's cruellest victories, against Kelsie. Or Sophie missing out on quite a bit of money but still managing to make a profit in the end.

I'm very tempted to back Sophie just to see Davids reaction ;) :P

But as the only ever player from Shropshire and it was a pretty damn memorable game it has to be Kelsie

Well seeing as it was shown on my birthday, and I liked her a lot on the wings, I'll also go with Kylie...I mean, Kelsie! :-D

Kelsie's was certainly a memorable one, I've gone for Kerry's though. Deal Or No Deal... you CAN take it off the screen... and it might happen sooner than you think!

I was on holiday for Kerry's game, and I didn't record it, so I'm voting for Kerry's game.

It definitely won't be one of the two July games, far too recent!

Kerry - a satisfying OPW.

The two July ones were far too recent and Kelsie's was far too frustratingly painful to watch.
I don't know why Sophie's is on there but it has the same theme as Kelsie's that the banker could get them sort of cheap for the board!"

I haven't seen Kelsie's game, so I'll vote for her.

Urgh, I bet you are enjoying this with the news this week. It seems you wanted DoND off the screens since Noel went anti-Deal. Aussie Deal is still airing on Channel Seven (four years and counting), without a regular phone in competition. They still continue Double Deal Friday but it's still one competition per week.

I don't want it to finish - and it won't do either - at the most it will move channels but it won't even do that!

I'm going to get straight to the point. Yes, I did, because when he did that the show became more than just a game. As far as I'm concerned, treating money the way Noel does and skewing it in this fashion is a big issue - shows have been pulled for lesser, certainly less wide-ranging, social harm than this.

Look at the youngsters on this forum, a mere small sample of the six-figure child audience this show pulls daily. What's going to happen to their attitude to money? How many are going to change?

It's obvious that a lot of the old folk have spotted this. ITV's 4pm audience - with shows favouring an older demographic - has skyrocketed. You can bet - pun entirely intended - that a lot of that is a straight transfer from DoND. Remember that at least one newspaper popular with older readers ran a sustained campaign against gambling expansion - these same people who are reading (and no doubt, in the case of a large number, agreeing with) an anti-gambling message will then notice that DoND is emphasising gambling a lot more, and the result is that these people vote with their remotes.

Of course, if it's the younger audience that's staying, that maintains DoND's future rather better because that's a more ad-friendly audience, and there's no other substantial source of income for the show anymore.

Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

Well the two July choices are just pointless - I haven't worked it out exactly, but it's highly likely that there will still be "current" players on the wings in them, for instance Robert who was the newbie in Sophie's game will have done 20 or shows by then, so every chance he won't yet have played!

Maria's game can at least be deemed classic, but Sophie's was rather ordinary, and am surprised that if they were than keen to have two very recent, then why not Lynn's? I've only seen the last 10 mins of Lynn's game. :(

That leaves the Two Ks - Kelsie's game left me feeling sick, and is too similar to Donna's game to want to see so soon after that, whereas Kerry's game I was just so happy about, and is possibly my favourite proveout ever, with the possible exception of Melanie!

Kerry it is!!
