It's getting a bit confusing what with Channel 4 putting the polls up two weeks in advance... so I've set this thread up to try and keep track of what's being shown when!

So far we've had:

24/2/07 – Gaz – May 2006 - £100,000
3/3/07 – Matt – March 2006 - £35,000
10/3/07 – Jennifer – November 2005 - £120,000
17/3/07 – Lance – August 2006 - £87,000
24/3/07 – Sarah – March 2006 - £27,000
31/3/07 – Bunney – January 2007 - £110,000
7/4/07 – Brenda – February 2006 - £57,000
14/4/07 – no show
21/4/07 – Nick – January 2006 – 1p
28/4/07 – Lucy – November 2006 - £35,000
5/5/07 – Gary – April 2006 - £29,999
12/5/07 – Hannah – September 2006 - £10,000
19/5/07 - Germaine - March 2006 - £75,000
26/5/07 - Lynne - November 2006 - £75,000
2/6/07 - Dave - January 2006 - £20,000
9/6/07 - Lynn - October 2005 - £14,000
16/6/07 - Giorgio - July 2006 - 1p

The first six episodes were chosen by Channel 4 / Endemol and were not decided by the public vote!

We’ve had an interesting mix, actually – one very old one, in the form of Jennifer’s, a recent one in the form of Bunney’s, and quite a few from the ‘golden’ age of DOND from February – May 2006. It’s also nice to see some lower win games getting another airing, although I wouldn’t necessarily describe them as ‘classics’.

The options so far have been (in order of the poll results on the forum):

7 April – Brenda, Saj, Claudine and Donna
21 April – 1p Nick, Okiem, Jeff King, Howard
28 April – Pat M, Lucy (2), Julie (2), Sue (1) – although Lucy (2) won the vote on the Channel 4 forum! :?
5 May: Gary Owen, Buddy, Khanny, Swappy Matt
12 May: Hannah, Gabrielle / Sally (equal number of votes!), Swappy Barbara.
19 May: Germaine, Lee, Joseph, Fin
26 May: Helen (2), Lynne, Di Please, Maddie
2 June: No poll - but the options were Dave (1), Daz, Dennis and Tom and I think most forum members wanted to see Dave's game again, closely followed by Daz's!
9 June: Lynn, Hilary, Pennie, Becca
16 June: Giorgio, Harry, Billy, Nev
23 June: 50 shows Lucy, Stevie, Stella, Millie

I assume it means that we won’t be seeing any of those options appearing again any time soon… :( Meaning Pat M’s game won’t be shown for a while… why did Lucy (2) beat Pat M in the official Channel 4 website poll? Athough it was only by 1% apparently.

Well I think Nick's certainly qualifies as a "classic"! If you're referring to the lower win games that had a "good" outcome, I think games like Hannah's deserve to be there as well, for showing that a £10,000 win can be just as tense and dramatic as a £100,000 win (and however the game had turned out, that sweep alone would make it qualify as a classic!)

Because Daniel kept voting from lots of different computers I guess... ;)

You just have to close your browser and then open it again! I voted about 458973984398 times for Lee that way (although I still think he came last :? )...

Suprisingly, they haven't put up the more obvious choices yet of 50 Shows Lucy, Laura and Morris. It wouldn't suprise me if we also see Andrew, Craig, a few more 1p-ers, Stella, Susan, Aaron, Buzz, Nick D, and maybe Lisa (3).

I'd definitely describe 1p Nick's as a classic! I was really referring to Hannah's game, as whilst it was a good game and very dramatic and tense, I doubt it'd be a "classic" game that most people would think of, but it certainly was worthy of showing again... if only for the harsh treatment Noel's lucky straw hat got!

The problem with Morris' game, as Billy rightly pointed out, is that it lasted 65 minutes, and the classic episodes only have 45-minute slots! Laura's game has already had a repeat showing on a Saturday and it was only on in January! I don't think that needs to be shown again for quite a few months yet...

I'm kind of glad about that - and hope they don't put them up yet.

I'd prefer to see games with quieter characters that gave us good games - like Jessica, Nancy, Miguel, Joan, Shirley etc. I don't feel they have to necessarily always be the most exciting games with the biggest characters.

Would it make a difference if they edited out the 3rd break?

I just want to see games I haven't seen yet, or haven't seen in ages. I don't really get it when people say "I have no idea who that is so I'm not voting for them"...that's a reason to vote for them in my book, it's like watching a new episode!

I'd certainly like to see more trainwrecks, particularly if they were really tense, such as Fadil's, Connell's or 1p Trevor's, or funny ones such as Emi, Tingly John, £1 Mike, Jim R, Dave E etc.

I'd particularly like to see all of 1p Trevor's, as I've only seen it from the second offer of £9,900 onwards - I'd like to see it build up to that!

definitely like to see a lot more trainwrecks where the players actually make it funny and good to watch. Too many recoveries, deals, and average shows nowadays.

Trevor's i dont think was a trainwreck as such - it was only there for the last 2 minutes of his game - the last box opened and his 1p win. it was heartwrenching if you know what i mean - this guy wants to go to Oz to see his brother who he hasnt seen for 20years, if he opens the right box he can do that 250 times......but he doesnt and ends up going home with a penny and having to wait another year to cough up the cash. If anyone should be given a second chance - he'd be the only player there.

still though - more trainwrecks or i stop watching :-D

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

The poll closes at noon today, and Dave (1) is 10% ahead of the next contender (Tom) at present. I think we can safely presume his game will be aired on June 2nd.

Does anyone know whose game is being shown tomorrow? Helen (2) won the poll on the forum, so I'm assuming it'll be her show, but Lynne was a very close second, so it may be her game.

I wish they'd put an announcement up on the site telling you who won each poll.

Lynne was leading the real poll by miles just before it closed, I'm pretty sure it'll be her. And Helen (1) wasn't even an option. :P

Oh yes... I keep thinking Helen (1) was Valentine's Helen! Helen (1) was Duchess Helen, Helen (2) being Valentine's Helen! :P
