Well if Adam couldn't get £100 for his 1p cheque and other memorabilia, I doubt very much that's a realistic price!

I really don't see why people want to sell such items anyway, if they're only going to raise a "blue" amount! Anyway won't Igor's cheque be for £500.02, with the bonus from Annie's game?

I think it's sad that he wants to sell it but should be more valuable than a 1p cheque!

Once again, I don't understand why any DOND contestant would sell the stuff they got from the show as it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get it, so why sell it? And he won't get £5,000 for it!

Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

'*bveep*' - you are a ledge Dan! :-D

He'll get more than Adam I reckon, coz there's only one 2p cheque out there! But certainly not four figures, he'll do well to make it to £100 I reckon, if he has the right people bidding!

I just cannot see the attraction of having a DOND cheque of any denomination in someone elses name.

Mind you I'd bid on a cheque for £250,000 though.

Who wouldn't?

OMG OMG OMG!!!

Just imagine if someone won the £250,000, then tried selling the cheque on eBay!!!

Imagine how much of a profit s/he would make!!!

:(

If this is the real Igor, I must admit that I feel a bit sad for him trying to sell his cheque for such a ridiculously high amount. I had him down as a complete legend. Surely he doesn't need the money that badly? I'm disappointed in him. You can't put a price on an experience like that, all the little DOND momentoes etc., and I'm a bit shocked that Igor apparantly has put a price on it all!

He'll never get 5 grand surely. Not in English money.

5000 RUBLES maybe...

(quick calculation 5000 rubles = £96.60 - that I can afford!! )

.... but never 5000 POUNDS STERLING! :-D

Hmm, well a picture of the 2p cheque itself hasn't been provided, like Adam did when he sold his 1p cheque. :?

But it does show that some contestants regard the show as a easy way to make a fast buck and have little or no regard or respect for the 'experience' and memories.

I must admit I was disappointed in Adam and now Igor in selling, what I would consider personal treasures. The amount of money they will get is peanuts really and surely neither of them are that desperate for a few quid!

Exactly! Howard was desperate for money and I never saw his £1 cheque on eBay!
