As most of you will be aware this new show starts today in place of DOND over the summer break, but lets imagin the show is as succesfull as Deal (i dont think it will be) could we see a Richard and Judy Paul O'Grady Type situation where one show does 3 months and the other does 3?

They'll probably end up giving the 4.15pm slot to Win My Wage and then really push the ratings war by moving DoND to straight after the Channel 4 News!

But more reality-like, they might just make Countdown slightly earlier. Once upon a time it was COuntdown that started at 4.15, now it starts at 3.30! Mind you, that was when 15 to 1 was on!

I don't know what would happen really...

Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

Yeah! Countdown is great and should never be scrapped.

Win My Wage was alright but did drag on a bit, but you always have a 1 in 3 chance of winning some decent money. It's good but is nowhere near as good as DOND.

I can't see Win My Wage being a contender for Deal or No Deal somehow. It's ok as a temporary show whilst Deal or No Deal takes a break but I doubt it will get a permanent slot.

I didn't bother watching Win My Wage. I saw the trailers for it on TV, and I didn't think it looked all that good. As for scrapping Countdown, C4 have had some daft ideas, but they're not that stupid. It's far too popular among the elderly, students, and basically everyone who happens to be watching the TV at 3.30pm!

Although Nick Hancocks career needs a lift, this isn't it - DOND is 4:15 on Channel 4 to stay...after the break. *Drum*

Does anyone know if the ratings for WMW have been good or bad?

More bad than good, or at least not DoND levels. Last audience figure I heard was 1.1m, 14% audience share, and that's about half DoND levels. DoND's slot is safe.
