Which is your favourite 1p win of all time?

Is it the founding member of the 1p club, Nick, who turned down £9,000 before taking out the remaining eight reds in a row?

Is it Trevor, whose brave decision to turn down £9,900 with £250,000 and four blues nearly paid off, only for the £250,000 to be found in the last box before his final offer?

Is it Fadil, whose gamble on a 1p vs £35,000 board didn't quite pay off on Good Friday?

Is it Dave E, who turned down a minute final offer of £1.50?

Is it Sally, who turned down an ever minuter final offer of 26p on the worst final pair ever?

Is it Connell, who turned down a lot of money, and would have won £10,000 had he been sensible enough not to swap for the dreaded 1p box?

Is it Giorgio, who ended the season with yet another 1p win after a trainwreck game?

Is it Sharron, who "didn't mind" whether she won 1p or £20,000 in the final stages of her game?

Is it Tony, who was the first 1p win in ages after Sharron, but yet not the last we've seen...

Is it PJ, who was denied a final offer on a 1p vs £75,000 board, and then was given £15,000 afterwards?

Or is it Adam, the huge dealer on the wings, and the gambler in his game, which didn't quite turn out the way he would have liked...

Fadil - I absolutely loved his no-nosense attitude to the game and his wife was also probably one of my favourite partners there's been! :)

Nick for me.

As for reasons for this, and for the rest of my choices in this poll, looky at the main thread set up for it.

i'd have to vote Nick as well. winning 1p was funny back then but most of the other 1p games were painful.

Sharron also handled it very well especially the derisory insulting offers.

Trevor it was the best induction into the club and he was the only guy who it seemed to genuinly hit home with.
He was a bit of a *beep* so didn't feel sorry for him and he went from potentially winning 250k to 1p you cannot join the club in a more horrific fashion than this. I actually recorded the final round when it was on first time because of the potential for a disaster and we got one.

Sally was great I felt bad for her and she took it in really good fun so this one was kinda dissapointing to me in the context she didn't do better.

Out of the 11 members I only feel sorry for 4 of them.

It seemed to have cut Adam off, so if you wish to vote him, post in this thread.

Sharron, because she didn't seem to care about the 1p win, plus she was one of my favourite contestants on the wings.

Nick. Fadil and Sharron deserved it.

Adam. For the incredible irony of him going from Noel's enemy to Noel's friend and being spectacularly wrong to do so...

PJs would have been a top one had they not lost their bottle and gave him £15,000 from the viewers competition. He should have just won 1p.

Has to be Nick's game, a true defining moment in the show and an example to everyone in how to take it when it doesn't go your way!

For entertainment value, Giorgio's game. I liked PJ's game too. I would have voted that top, but there was something about his game that didn't quite ring true.

PJs is just controversial because they gave him the viewers prize to make up for not giving him a final offer.

Really he should have just won the 1p yes the end was a tad unfair in terms of only a chance to reverse his earlier swap but it could be said he paid for his arrogance in terms of wanting box 4 so much the banker was just making pj put his money where his mouth was sorta thing,
As PJ was adament box 4 had something big!!

I thought PJ's game violated the show a bit, and that it really weakened the character of the Banker. I would have voted for him had the extra £15 000 not been given, because it was a very tense game.

But I voted for Sally. She was courageous and really beautiful, and like-able and more beautiful.

My vote has to go to PJ.

You could clearly see the friendships that had bonded between him and the other contestants, and whether you loved the twist or not, it certainly got us all talking about it afterwards and made entertaining telly! The atmosphere in the studio must have been electric! One of, if not, the most emotional games ever.
