Um... My "schedule" is none of your business and totally irrelevant to a discussion that late at night anyway. If you think that was a smart, clever comment, dream on. I'm just giving a point of view and that's it, don't start making it personal! :D

Blimey, someone is tetchy!

Didn't need to be mentioned though. I'm perfectly fine anyway, glad you are too!! :D :smt023

I only said Thanks because with filling out your spreadsheet and other life commitments you must be a pretty busy fellow. I can't help being such a kind-hearted guy :)

Ha bloody ha! I am busy thanks, although why you're even remotely bothered what I do is a complete mystery to me! :ponder:

Trish...............................

................did exactly what Deal-Eye would've done today. :box: The only offer today that was above the Fair Deal was the 3rd, but at 92% of the Benchmark it was about £600 short of what Deal-Eye wanted.

Been thinking about a vague idea to spice this thread up a bit... a ONE-OFF REVIVAL TOURNAMENT OF DEAL-EYE BET!? :ponder:
(if there was sufficient interest for it obviously... :eyes: )

It would be simple rules, but with the ADDED JEOPARDY of Box 23 into the equation:

1. Each player receives 20 points to start each week. First to 100 points or higher wins as before, aiming to correctly predict on WIN, LOSS or DRAW for the old-school system (as adjudged by main game and box 23 now of course)

2. HOWEVER... The prize pool, which starts at £2, is now determined by the contents of box 23 each day as follows:
DOUBLE = Double the current prize pool
+£10k = Add £1 to the prize pool
MONEY BACK = Prize pool stays the same
HALF = Halves the prize pool
NOTHING = Wipes out the entire prize pool

3. In the event of 'nothing' being revealed, the NEXT DAY'S prize pool will be determined as follows:
NOTHING = Still Nothing! :cry:
HALF = Add 50p
MONEY BACK = Add £1
+£10K = Add £2
DOUBLE = Add £3
(This process repeats until there is some money in the prize pool, then usual rules apply, as point 2.)

4. So, if you're the first to reach (or exceed) 100 points, you would win the prize after the day's box 23 effect has been applied. In harsh circumstances, you may get nothing, but there's a very slim chance you might get £128! :shock:

Just an idea anyway! :D

Actually, scratch that idea, it's OBVIOUSLY going to be too difficult to police against spoilers. Sorry everyone... :smt105

Deal-Eye would've gone all the way in the past 3 games, in case anyone didn't already know. :roll: :smt011 With Deal-Eye being a gamble-bot at the moment thanks to the Banker refusing to honor the fair value of virtually any board, I'm going on strike until Deal-Eye actually takes one of his offers. :evil:

Oh, I had my eyes on that £128... :smt009 :lol:

Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

I'd feel sorry for whoever was paying the prize, but it would be hilarious if it actually happened :lol:

1 in 15,625 chance of it happening, so if it had, I wouldn't have minded! The idea was that there would be TENSION on the final day that a potentially decent fund could be doubled or reduced to dust... Oh well.

Well I think it's a good idea. Clearly I couldn't play and Simon would have a couple of weeks off now and then, but you should go for it

Well... If I'd done it this week, it would've been a mere 12.5p by the final day! :shock: (13P in the end I guess! ;) )

Deal-Eye.....................

...............would've dealt £3,000 at 5 box in George's game and would've had it halved to £1,500 thanks to Box 23. :box:

I've lost the desire to do Deal-Eye updates, so anyone who wishes to take over can do so. :smt023

I'll take over...

DEAL-EYE rises from the spreadsheet it is trapped in and takes over Deal or No Deal, and next, THE WORLD!

I've been very busy as of late hence no updates on the new version but it's pretty much as ACB says...

The offers are so so poor these days that there doesn't appear to be much point. DE is going all the way in pretty much every game. Which in itself isn't wrong based on the offers that have happened, but it takes away the interest.
