I'm a newbie as you can all guess. My name is Joy (well duh), I'm 16 and currently at college studying ICT. I'm a huge DOND fan and I always get so into it. It's like a big obsession I can't escape :cry:

Welcome Joy - a Manx lass I see. Don't know if we've had any contestants on DoND from the Isle of Man yet, hopefully there'll be some representation from there soon, putting the place on the map! (there is a guy on the programme Shipwrecked from there though - I know my stuff!)

Thanks all

I'm not originally from the Isle of Man but I do have the accent (it's like Irish/Liverpuddlian). I want there to be someone from here to go and audition for DOND, I would do it myself but a) too young and b) too shy (though I always call in on the radio). Haha, I'm so going to have to watch Shipwrecked now

I wonder if I'll know him cos it's a small island and everyone knows everyone's business. The best thing was the IoM winning a gold medal this year at the Commonwealth games :-D

Yeah, I noticed those IoM Commonweath Games medals. Great effort!

Sure there'll be representation from your fair isle on DoND soon, lets hope...
