hi, would just like to say hi

my name is Lui and i am a big fan of the show, have watched it since it started and have seen it on Italian state TV RAIUNO, ( equivalent of our BBC1 ), started there about 3 yrs ago.

I would like to know if anyone knows some answers to some questions i have, can I ask them here or do i need to start a new topic?

Fire away, but if your question is about the Italian version of Deal or No Deal I doubt anyone will be able to help you. The UK version hasn't be exported to Italy with Noel has it??? Of all our members the only one I know who claims to be in Italy and will really be able to help you is probably 'Spartacus'. The rest of us would be guessing! That doesn't mean we won't try or you're not welcome here though! :-D

hi, thanks for the welcome.

does anyone know how many shows are filmed in a day, ie if you happen to be on for 26 shows before you get to the hot seat, is that 26 days?

would love to apply to go on but maybe difficult due to time constraints and work.

3 days a show hun currently 9.45 for the first one then the afternoon sessions starts at 12.30

Welcome to the forums.

I'm not sure about the Italian version, however for the UK version, they film 3 shows a day Monday to Friday, and film in two week blocks - i.e. two weeks' filming, two weeks' break.

The break is now two weeks since they started filming again in October.

Yeah, the Italian show has been going for about 3 years and they have the maximum amount of 500,000 euros, they also have less boxes, 20, 1 for each region / county of Italy.

Originally they use to ask a question and do it like fastest finger first of Who wants to be a millionaire, in selecting the player, but now they just pick a player who represents a region, ie Mike for Cleveland.

They also do special shows with the top prize being 2,000,000 euros.
There was one on on Friday and the contestant won 180,000 euros.

Hope they do some of those over here.
Top prize of £1,000,000 sounds nice!
