Hi!

Having watched DOND for a while now, I have become very bored with the forum on the channel four site, everyone over there seems really nasty towards some of the contestants, I am sure some of you who go on there from time to time will have noticed this as well.

I don't find it fair to laugh at people who went away with a low amount, some of those people have had the guts to play on in a situation they knew could go completely the wrong way, and they still took the risk.

Anyway, I found a link to this forum so here I am!!

Hope to speak to some of you very soon.

:welcome: Naughty

Great that you've found us. I'm sure you'll enjoy it here, we have a fantastic group of members.

I must admit I haven't checked out the Channel4 forum for quite a while, will have a little look later and see what it's like over there

Totally agree with that statement naughty, the contestant made the choice they felt was right for them at that time and they live the outcome. It's fair enough to disagree with decision and say how you would have played, but there is no need for the torrents of abuse we see elsewhere.

Anyway, welcome to the forum

and have fun.....

Hello and welcome, Naughty! :)

This is a very friendly site and no-one's nasty to anyone at all. I've never seen the Channel Four forum (I didn't know they had one) but I've seen other forums where things can get slightly unpleasant. There's none of that here though!

:D

As shallow as it sounds, I think it's great when someone wins a low amount on DOND. I'm allowed to post my opinion in that way if I see fit, as long as I dont offend anyone, which I dont!.

When Trevor won 1p I felt a warm glow inside.

Followed by the arrorgant fool that is Mike who then went with £1 the day earlier. I felt sooooo good.

Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

When I'm watching millionaire or other such programs I think that watching someone lose a big sum of money is very entertaining TV, and I don't feel bad for them at all.

I find DoND different though, and always have enourmous sympathy for those who come away with a really low sum. I guess it's because, due to the 'wait your turn' format, their faces are so familiar.
