Just came across this Forum recently, I've been reading much of it and I find it very entertaining indeed.

I'm James (sadly not one of the James's who's been on DOND, though I'd like to be!), and although I had seen the odd game before it, I really got into DOND around mid-March (I think it was Saj winning £50k that got me hooked!).

My favourtie games are the ones that have be biting my nails but with positive end results (Kirsty, Morris, Gaz, Pennie etc - I still count £20k as positive regarding Morris BTW!)), but I also really enjoy seeing early deals and then the board going pear shaped (Melanie's game was the best example of this!).

Anyway, I'm really enjoying the repeats on More4, and I understand there are some absolute crackers coming up, hopefully including tomorrow! Look forward to commenting on games as they happen, and also finding out more about applying to be a contestant!

Thanks for the welcomes everyone!

I must also add that I have a favourite and least favourite box, as I know some people on here do. I LOVE Box 13, and it usually seems lucky for the big winners (especially Gaz), and HATE Box 6 - it's a terrible curse when it's at the table (Fadil, Massimo, Joan, Giorgio, Adrienne, Vic, Paul from July 3 - even though the last 3, luckily, had dealt).

I can recall only Louise (June 12) having a decent game and a decent amount in Box 6!


I'll get back to you with my favourte contestants (rather than games) soon! :)
