I'm not only a Forum newbie, but I'm actually a DOND newbie if you can believe it. I didn't have a TV for years and had only seen about 5 minutes of DOND one time and wondered why on earth people spent an hour discussing in what order they were going to open random boxes.

A while ago I happened to be slumped in front of the telly when DOND came on and I thought, "what the heck". That gave me the opportunity to ponder the banker's deals, and as time has gone to realise the real heart of the show is the contestants.

I realise you all know this already, but hey, better late than never

I'm also interested in the stats.

@h2005 - I can get Challenge and it's been interesting watching it. I'm looking forward to seeing how the 'traditions' (which I'm still learning ) develop - especially the camaraderie on the wings, the 1p kiss, the guvnor etc.

@RMF1254 - it's actually related to my name, but I've been using it on the t'intarwebs for so long I can't really quite remember how I chose it.
