Hi everyone, im new to this site as a member but have been reading the posts for the last few months now. Its good to see a lot of people from the TV show on here too.

I have a question for all you previous DONDealers how long did you wait to be told if you were successful on getting onto the show. Cause everyday I wait for that Magical phonecall or that dreaded e-mail?

I know people say just wait and try to forget about it but when you watch the show everyday your always thinking "that could be me"

Any advice?

Great to see you here on the forum; I'm Clare-Louise - I played during Love Week this year!

I had my audition in February 2008 and I had my phone call in July. However, I don't think there's an agreed amount of time that is the same for everyone, the people I was on the show with all waited different times. Do you remember Carrie who played New Year's Eve? Well she was at the same audition as me, and we got chatting there. Well she got called up before me even though we were at the same audition. I can't remember how long David waited, but you can be sure he will let you know!

I applied in January of this year and recieved my call in February...I had the audition in March in Newcastle.. which was quite a way considering i live in scotland, but there were a few others from scotland too, so i shouldnt really complain about that..Yes i do remember you on Tv during love week, the outfits they gave you were fantastic!

I understand they have quite a break in the summer from filming, so i guess they wouldnt contact anyone during that time. I dont know maybe im wrong

Well I wish you all the best of look! I was rang during the summer, so always keep hoping!! To be honest, I had almost given up hope of getting on the show, and the day I was rang, I remember it was a pretty dire day at work, it was the week before pay day and everything was pretty dull! That brightened up my day I tell you!!

Hope that you do get on the show one day, I too have applied but not got a phone call yet mind though I did think that I did make a little bit of a mess with my application.

why whats makes you think you made a mess of your application?

when did you apply for the show

I applied for the show in December 2008.

What makes me think of it is that I didn't mention about what I would spend the money on but apart from that I filled it in the best I could.

well i wouldnt worry about that too much, as far as i can tell its what you put in your apllication about yourself, that could possibly grab their attention, anyway fingers cross ed for you mate you still might recieve that call
