I have been following this forum since Jan '09 and DOND itself since Jan '08. I enjoy reading up on the stats of the show. Funnily enough, as I wasn't brought up on telly, I know very little about other programmes. I don't intend to get a telly any time soon, and I watch DOND using on-demand TV on the internet (but nothing else!) I do however, have 50-odd films on DVD which I play though the computer. I'm a mad fan of Disney and especially Lilo & Stitch, which was one of Disney's last successful traditional animations. I prefer the traditionals over their CGI work.

I'm visually & hearing impaired, so I'm especially interested to meet people from RNIB/D. My dilemma though is that I tend not to gel with an able-bodied group nor a deaf group - with an able-bodied group, I'm too deaf to hear if the group is too large, but if I'm in a group of deaf people, they all sign or lip-read and my eyesight is too bad for me to train either!

Welcome to the forum. I don't have a TV either but I do have a card in one of the computers which is handy for recording and burning.

I'm sure you'll fit in just fine. Enjoy.
