Hello, all! My name is Mark David, and I am a Deal or No Deal fan from Montreal, Canada. There is a possibility that I may be the first Candian member of these boards, but even if I'm not, it doesn't matter that much. I am a big fan of the Howie Mandel-hosted USA version, but I like the UK version as well. Noel Edmonds is a great host, and the contestants are always entertaining and fun to watch. Your Banker is interesting as well; he actually asks to speak to the coentestants sometimes, as opposed to ours, who just sits behind a darkened window and moves around. I first discovered the UK version of DoND through this website, http://classicgameshows.com/video/index.html, where I watched the end bit of Trevor's game, James' St. Patrick's Day game, as well as one where this guy named John won a whole ₤10. I myself am a member of The 1p Club; a UK penny sits on top of my shelf. This site is awash with useful information about the UK and US versions of my favorite game show in the whole wide world, and so far, I'm enjoying it, and I've learned a lot. Hats off to all of you, you're a very clever bunch ! I also like the fact the people who were actual contestants on the show sometimes come here to chat about their experience on DoND. It's a nice way for the big fans of the show to get up close and personal to these very entertaining folks. Just in case you were wondering, my avatar is a replica of the silver briefcases that are used on the US version of DoND. I made it myself in Paint. Why No. 7, you ask? There are two reasons for that.
1. 7 is my lucky number.
2. If I were a contestant on DoND, I would have chosen case (or box) no. 7.
And that's about it. I look forward to metting and getting to know some of you here better as time goes by. Thanks for letting me be a part of the fun.
