hi, my name is Adrienne. Just thought I would join you all to say hello, as you are such big fans of a show that I appeared on. I was there at the very beginning, one of the first 22. In fact, I was the first person to ever open a box. My show was Show 13, and I won £8,300. I had the time of my life, and I have stayed in touch with quite a few other contestants.

That was just before I started watching DOND, though I did manage to catch some of the very first shows on More4.

Do you still watch the show now and what do you think of it now compared to when you were on? Also when did you apply to be a contestant back then before the show was even on the air?

When recording that first ever show did you expect DOND to be such a big hit and to last so long?

Aaron, are you the Aaron I know from DOND, the one I met in Blackpool?

Flamedtresses, of course you can p m me, but I am quite hopeless computer-wise, so don't take offence if I cannot answer you.

Garylq, I think we realised it would be a hit, but not to the extent it is today. The producers were thrilled with the viewing figures after the first airing, and told us they owed us a debt of thanks.

Mike, I do still watch almost every day, and fully understand the contestants' emotions. There have been a lot of changes since my time, but mostly for the better. Sometime mid-2005 I spotted an advert for contestants for a new TV gameshow, no name given, just the initials DOND. This was on a website called Beonscreen.com. I sent off an application form on-line, and then got a phone call to invite me to an audition. After that I got another phone call to tell me I had been picked... the rest is history. I recorded in Bristol at the end of October 2005, and my show was aired on November 14th.
