Not so long ago, two weeks ago, £1,000 had come to the table fewer than any amount in Deal Or No Deal's history. £1,000 has now come to the table a truly remarkable 7 times in the last 12 shows if you include it coming to the table through an early swap on June 1st and now four shows in succession (three not including June 1st). For any amount to come to the table 3 times in succession the odds are 1 in 10648 and 4 times in succession a staggeringly low 1 in 234256 chance. £1,000, from having been comfortably last continues to climb up the chart:

Here's the latest chart:

It's a bit annoying although it'd be worse if it was a certain blue. It's making up for lost time I guess. At least when the rock was doing this people were sometimes going to the end and winning it! Why can't we have this with a power5 amount ?!

I was just about to bring this point up. 7 times in the last 12 games!! That's amazing, the stats on wikipedia look really strange! :o

I'm surprised, the 15k is the rarest! Some of my most memorable games have involved the 15k: Sam, Terri (because I couldn't understand her tactics), Massimo, Louise, Rhona, and Den and Craig recently had it.

Am I right in thinking that £15,000 has only been won once, by Rhona? And Gabrielle but she swapped for it.

Bearded Gary and Julia also swapped for it, but yes, only Rhona has won it by going to the end and having it in her original box.

And £1,000 Week ends with it in the box again!

Just imagine if we had a similar run with the £250,000. We thought the amount of times it came to the table in December and January was remarkable (6 + 1 swap + 1 hypo-swap), but how much would the Banker pay out if the big one was the final box on the table 8 shows out of 15?

It really is remarkable, isn't it?

Anyway, to the point someone made about his own games - there was a three-week stint late January-early February in my series where the £15,000 gained the nickname of 'the Bogey sum of money' because it came to the table, or at least found its way to the table 10 times in a running run of 22 games!

Same thing really - at which point the Banker almost always referred to the 10% rule; at 8-box he would always offer 10% of the highest sum of money left in play. So if the £250,000 was left but not much else, there was a few brave players who said No Deal and then crashed in the next round - idiots lol!
