I thought I'd have a look at the runs of wins of £10,000 or below...

The show numbers are listed with the people whose shows they were... and as can be seen, Rita's £7,500 win yesterday broke the record for the longest run of wins of £10,000 or below - and it's currently in a 7 show run.

Bearing in mind the average win on DOND is about £17,000, to have 7 shows in a row of wins of £10,000 or below is rather odd - you'd normally expect there to be a couple of £20,000 + wins, one or two of about £15,000 and £5,000 and maybe one or two blue wins!

Interesting h! I wonder when we will have a week where the viewers win more than the contestants, to my knowledge I don't believe this has happened yet, but maybe someone has some surprising statistics they could share!

I remember that seven show run really well, it was a really odd time for the show, Lionel had become the first to get to the final two in absolutely ages, and then everyone after that had £1,000 in the box. Joe's game felt especially brilliant after it, smashing the run apart and winning £26,500!
