2007 - 288 shows - total of £5,323,178.71; average per show of £18,483.26

2008 as at 31/03/08 - 78 shows - total of £1,044,869.06; average per show of £13,395.76

2008 as at 30/04/08 - 104 shows - total of £1,327,110.31; average per show of £12,760.68

June 2008 was a very poor month in terms of total payout - in fact the worst for totals if you exclude Aug-06 and Oct-05 which only contained 4 and 1 shows respectively; and also the worst for average per show by quite a margin.

Now updated to include the pitiful total for August 2008, which despite having 6 shows is considerably beneath October 2005 which had just one show.

Some more numbers I've found to play with.

2008 as at 25/07/08 - 179 shows - total of £2,175,813.33; average per show of £12,155.38

2008 as at 31/08/08 - 185 shows - total of £2,184,294.33; average per show of £11,807

So at the end of the first week of Season 4, the average per show for all shows so far in 2008 currently stands at £11,807. Those 6 shows in August had quite an effect on the average and 2008 could well end up being the worst year for payout (as if we need stats to tell us that) by quite a margin at this rate.
