With two last week, and the variety of opinions on them, would you have dealt at any of them?

Some were clever, some ok and some were downright foolish!, but would you have gone at:

1.Jenni's £26,000
2.Andrew's £14,000
3.Beryl's £3,100
4.Flash's £6,000
5.Johnnie's £8,300
6.Lofty's £18,000
7.James's £14,700
8.Melanie's £30,000
9. Lynda's £20,000
10. Barbara's £13,000
11. Michaela's £24,000

For me:
1. No
2. No
3. No
4. No
5. No
6. No
7. No
8. Yes
9. No
10. Probably not
11. Possibly

1. Probably No Deal, but I'm not sure. I might have dealt purely because £26k is a huge amount of money to me, even though it looked like there should be more in the game.

2. Probably Deal. Very good offer for that stage.

3. Definitely No Deal. I've been using screwthebanker to refresh my memory about what the boards looked like, but I don't need to in this case - there's absolutely no way I'd take £3,100 with the £250k still there, even if it were the only red left!

4. No Deal. It was a good offer, but I'd be pretty disappointed with winning £6k (not that it isn't a lot to me), so I'd be willing to risk it for the £50k or £75k.

5. No Deal. Same as above, really.

6. No Deal.

7. No Deal.

8. Deal.

9. Probably Deal.

10. Probably No Deal.

11. Probably No Deal.

Would take something out of the ordinary to make me deal that early. If the £250k had gone, or it was a weak £250k board, the offer would be unlikely to be significant enough to make me walk. Whereas on a strong £250k board it would be hard to walk away from the potential.

Melanie's £30,000 would tempt most people, but that board would still probably have sucked me in. For her it was an absolute no-brainer though, and the Banker clearly misread her.

Jenni - would have no dealt in a normal scenario but following wins of £5 and 1p on the same day I may well think different!

Andrew - No Deal

Beryl - No Deal (the clearest cut decision of them all, even if the board was crap!)

Flash - No Deal

Johnnie - No Deal

Lofty - No Deal - you'd have to have the worst luck in the histroy of the game not to get a better or comparable offer at a later stage, but can understand why he dealt, the money was unbelieably important!

James - not sure

Melanie - Deal

Lynda - Again, deal becuase the money was THAT imporatant to her!

Barbara - Deal, she had a two box game even at that stage!

Michaela - Deal - was a poorer board than Lofty or Mel, there were no safety nets below the top 4, and £24k is life-changing for me!

Jenni: I suspect that would have been an 'if in doubt, Deal' for me. Especially after the other shows of that recording session.

Andrew: Yes. It wasn't a board worthy of a five-figure offer at that point.

Beryl: No. There's an 8/11 chance of getting something substantially better.

Flash: No. But she clearly felt it wasn't her day and the board did suggest as much.

Johnnie: Not unless the Banker's offers in one-box games were especially insulting at the time. Because the probability of having a one-box game at the final eight is almost 50% from there.

Lofty: No. Probably not.

James: Ditto.

Melanie: Yes. Definitely.

Barbara: No. Though at the time I said yes. Probably anticipating joke offers in a one-box game again.

Michaela: Quite probably yes. Not certain.

What about the highest ever first and second offers (think it was Matt's game). Think I would have gone on at £20k just about, but would definitely have dealt at £35k and saved myself the worry of the rest of the game. After all, it is a Power 5 amount!
