Endemol have added a new section over at their site which contains stats from series 1 - 3. You need Microsoft Excel to view them.

Having just had a quick glance at one set of stats it gives you info on the player's box amount, what they dealt at, maximum offer and lowest offer (and of course the player's name and date they played).

We've had that info here for years

Click on the contestants name and it even gives you a full box by box breakdown of every game

They only have up to New Year's Eve 2007 too!

Well it's only taken Endemol nearly 3 years to get their own set. I wonder if they copied them from here

Plus they've messed up the series 1 stats. They've duplicated numerous shows and put odd amounts in everywhere

They have now updated the contestants from 2008 right up to New Years Eve.

It's wierd that their spreadsheets to determine their series numbers doesn't match to the season episode numbers or the production episode numbers.

Yes, it seems a rather disorganised effort, doesn't it! Unlike my ring-bound DOND results book, which covers all the episodes up to New Year's Eve 2008! Wondering whether their details for Amanda's game are correct...

It's interesting looking at the official stats, as it reveals the true value of the dream offers which were dealt (although we already knew the value of Brenda's due to someone working out when they displayed the total during the battle of the sexes).

It's also intriguing looking at the real names of the contestants in the list of stats... it's quite surprising how many contestants don't actually use their real name.

The 2008 stats are now up!

There's an awful lot of middle names up there too which I quite like!

But again loads of people weren't known as their real names, I wonder if this was to avoid duplication since it's been over a year since two players with the same but different initials appeared. The oddest one I found was that Keran was really called Karen - if you're going to be known as something different then why not make it something really different and not just slightly diffrerent?

The stats for the first half of 2009 are now up on the site.

Yeah, It's interesting having the Dream offers up there, such as Tom's New Orleans Trip (show 548) being worth £6,690, and it seems at least we have an accurate result for the elusive 'missing' episode that Endemol still haven't shown!

Might have been an idea during this break with all the repeats, or is the nature of this programme too sensitive to broadcast some 33 months after the (admittedly sad) event? Maybe it is, or more likely Endemol see little point in showing it now or have forgotten about it. Ah well.

Another thing I was looking at was Paul B's game where he got offered a chance to play at Old Trafford, in the first dream offer, along with £7,500. Judging by the stats, this wasn't greater than the £12,500 maximum offer, whereas I thought it might've been. Time for a few alterations, I think...

I don't think too much can be read into that really; they may have just not bothered to include the value of the dream offer for Paul's game. There are one or two inconsistencies - such as Farmer George's lowest offer being listed as £0 (as he was offered a toy tractor), yet Alex (from New Year's Day 2009)'s lowest offer is listed as £12,000 (even though his final offer was a dozen eggs!).

Yeah, their stats are not as good as ours, I would say!

Wicked Stepmother won't be happy they have Ty's, or should I say, Tyseley's name in full!!

I don't get some of the names in double inverted commas either, usually they're shortened versions of their full name (such as "Aby" or "Shell") or an obvious nickname like "Pezza" or "Cuffy", but there are odd ones for instance Michelle from April was realy called Ailin (sp?) Sally from Feb was really called Elsie, and George was really called William, and 97-yo Joe was really Cyril George?


They'd be a lot less confusing if there had been other people on the wings with the same name on at the same time but there weren't!

Oh, and they got someone called David Watts's lowest offer wrong. They said it was £2,005. I don't remember it having a pound sign in front of it!

It does seem a bit strange. I think George (William)'s middle name was George and he was always known as George. I suppose it's possible that applies to the others too!

Interesting find for Ty's real name though - that seemed to be a closely guarded secret on both here and on the show itself!
