Didn't realize 2009 had so many Power 5 wins compared to other years. This was mostly a combination of 1) numerous players having enough luck at key stages to get their offer up in the £35k+ bracket and 2) the numerous Banker's Gambles and other gimmicks that year that caused players to achieve Power 5 level wins they wouldn't have otherwise (i.e. Alice, Mel, Simon & Irish Mike).

Easy to see barren periods - April to October 2008 (only Betty and Jess in a 6-month period, then Julie's forced win before the floodgates opened in November and December), and June to November 2013 (thank god for Paddy and Marlene!).

There were more Power 5 wins in 2007 than 2011, 2015 and 2016 combined!

No surprises there, early in the year had Wakey Winter, and later on in the year when the Banker suddenly become stingy a lot of players were willing to fight back as the recession hadn't set in yet.
