Right, now this should be interesting, especially as I've spent ages doing it! Here's a list of the number of players to deal at each point, together with the best deal times in all games. All stats exclude shows 312 and 548.
Correct at 584 shows. Explanation to follow later...
I'll gloss over the first 2 rounds, but here's some quick stats:
19 games where the player could've got an OPW at the round-of-17.
48.75 games where the player could've got an OPW at the round-of-14. (I'll explain why it's .75 later)
Ok, here a more in-depth picture from round 3 onwards, starting with...
ROUND-OF-11:
25 dealers at this point.
6 OPWs (24%)
68.75 games where it was best to go at this point.
ROUND-OF-8:
119 dealers at this point.
24 OPWs (20.17%)
76.25 games where it was best to go at this point.
ROUND-OF-5:
192 dealers at this point.
77 OPWs (40.10%)
145.25 games where it was best to go at this point.
ROUND-OF-4:
1 dealer at this point.
1 OPW (100.00%)
1.50 games where it was best to go at this point.
ROUND-OF-3:
1 dealer at this point.
1 OPW (100.00%)
1.50 games where it was best to go at this point.
(yes, they really are the same stats!)
ROUND-OF-2:
85 dealers at this point.
27 OPWs (31.76%)
89.50 games where it was best to go at this point.
NO DEAL:
127 players have gone to the end and opened their original box.
23 OPWs (18.25%) from opening your original box.
123.50 games where it was best to open your original box.
NO DEAL (involving swap):
33 players have swapped their box AND opened it at the end.
6 OPWs (18.18%) have been achieved by doing this.
9 games it has been best to swap your box and keep it to the end. (Of course, it depends which box you swap for!)
That makes a total of 165 OPWs.
Ok, some explanation. The 0.5's and 0.75's etc. that you see are when the peak offer is the same at various points. This seemed the most scientific way to do it. However, when the player has got the most amount possible out of a game, the point at which they dealt is the point at which it is classified as an OPW. If you get my drift. Anyway, let's hope round-of-4 and round-of 3 can keep up their 100% dealing records!
