Just wondering if anyone had the statistics for how many games it's been best to deal at 17-box, 14-box etc. I remember Mister Al did something on this a while back. I used to have the stats, but 'mislaid' some of the results.

Deal-of-17 -- 3.8% of games
Deal-of-14 -- 8.8% of games
Deal-of-11 -- 12.1% of games
Deal-of-8 -- 13.3% of games
Deal-of-5 -- 24.3% of games
Deal-of-2 -- 15.7% of games
Take the Box -- 22.0% of games

(I've not spent any time deciding what to do with oddities like non-monetary offers, offers at non-standard times throughout the game, or games where the peak offer appeared more than once. Therefore these figures should be treated as approximate. But still pretty useful.)

Interesting that deal-of-5 and opening the box are quite close with the percentages - at one point deal-of-5 used to be the absolute best time to go, but I think lower offers at this point recently are to account for this.
