The amount of disastrous games with box 6 has been commented on a few times, with the suggestion that Laura used up all its luck in one go! Those in the months immediately after that didn't seem to do too badly with it, but look at this, the last 8 games with this box on the table:

Apart from Igor, they all no-dealt to the end and won the amount in their box. 7 out of 8 were blue wins, and the other one was the lowest red!

I'm not sure bout today, really, I'd say it's more good than bad that box 6 had a decent middle red value in it as it was only a tiny OBW. I wouldn't have been surprised if there'd been huge irony and it'd had the 50K after she dealt!.

Its luck may have improved recently (though it's still been mainly bringing blues to the table) - but what's quite remarkable is how often we've seen box 6 at the table.

It has now appeared 8 times in the last 32 shows. I make that a 1 in 15,934 chance!

yes it's also been carried to the pound table more than any other box ever! It's certainly a very prominent box!

With the exception of Maria's game (£15,000), it's had low amounts in it whenever brought to the table.

Too bad the current Maria didn't play yesterday then ay?
