Right, ok... I think I know what's happened - I took some of the information from screwthebanker.com, and it says on there it was box 6, but in fact that was the other remaining box!

In which case, I'll edit that in. I think that means box 6 has only appeared 39 times on the table, not 40 as mentioned in Caroline's thread a few ago... would someone be able to confirm that for me?

You've removed Laura the person who won the 250K from box 6 who played 2 shows after Thanh (£750) and a little while before Catherine (£1)

Ooooh interesting StatsMan... box 12 is still my favourite though, but I also like 14, 16 and 21...

Everyone goes on about the cusrse of box 6 at the table but what about box 15 as well which I never knew. it hasn't had a signifcant red there since Vee!

Just a point about box 8 today - that was the first time it had come to the table for 118 shows, about the same gap since the very start of season 1.

Box 21 is now the most overdue box on the table, last appearing on 1st June 2007 (show 476).

Didn't think the median stat would be that interesting, but since I've done this the boxes with the lower medians would have (and occasionally have) created trainwrecks by the player going to the end, especially today with the 1p!

Purely superstitious of course, but over time each box should have a median of £875, and the fact that box 8 has a lousy median of £5 and box 16 a fantastic one of £20,000, seems a bit strange, though of course within the boundaries of probability.

I never expected that box 22 will have the highest average. I thought that box 7 is the worst in terms of average and box 8 seems really weird having those low amounts in a row.

It seems that the boxes that have the highest averages are on the 12 - 22 ranges. I love box 1 !

the box that i would automatically swap if I have it on my game is box 7 because of its 1p records.

Just to say I've added information about the actual winnings for each box now, and at the moment, box 22 comes out on top on both scores! 13 and 18 both have average wins over £20,000, which can't be bad!

If you've got box 8, it seems to be better to deal early than go to the end. Box 6 had a bit of a trainwreck reputation, but the stats show people are doing better by dealing (although Laura's £250,000 rather distorts this idea!). At some point I might see how many players have gone to the end with each box.

Roll on box 22 at the table, I say!

Do the adjudicator places the amounts in the boxes that he wants or is he following some programmed placement of amount?

aww 7 is my favourite, just because it's my lucky number and everything seems to go right for me when the numbe 7 is involved.
