Pointless fact....

As of Alain's show on Tuesday, every single position has now won OVER £250,000

To check out the graph and stats on how each position is performing - click on this link : http://www.screwthebanker.com/dond_stats.xls to download the latest database and click on the "Positions" Tab at the very bottom

Enjoy!

I noticed you'd updated that the other day Dave - it's a brilliant resource and I often use it to check things - so well done and keep it up!

Great stats as always - thanks Dave!

So the luckiest position (unsurprisingly) is E4, with £670,471 won - as well as Laura it's had Lynne, Mally, Brenda and Buddy who have all won £50k or more!

The others to have earned over half a million are W7 (£75k Kirsty and Julie, Hilary and £45k Daz) and close behind W1 (Lance, Doug, Billy, £50k Lee). Despite now having two six-figure wins with Bunney and Graeme, W11 is still only in fourth place!

As for the unluckiest place to stand, perhaps fittingly it's the "1p Nick" position of E6. It's had "only" four blue winners, but the highest win from that position is just £26,500 ("Tingly Wingly" Mike).

Without looking I'd imagine E10 and W8 are well down too - both have had plenty of blue winners and only one "power 5" win (of over 35k) each.

On average, it takes 29 shows for another £500,000 to be won

This is just an observation, but the name selector process might have changed. Just about all the time, the name selector picks the person who has been on for the most amount of shows.
FACT- Lucy is the longest running contestant ever on Deal or no deal with 50 shows. :o

We all know that Lucy is the longest ever runner and the name selector isn't random in case you thought it was.

I think they have just gotten into the annoying habit of picking the longest runner all the time!
