Well Qualy was intresting.... for blocking Hamilton in the pit lane for 5-10 seconds Alonso has been docked to sixth place, virtually ruining his chances at Hungary its very hard to overtake, also Mclaren can not score any constructors points from tomorrows race... they are appealing.

They won't get squat for it.

Hamilton will do well to win. But this will surely be Ferrari's day - to make up the points big time!

And sure enough, Hamilton wins!

All looks clear though - Alonso is gonna get a rollocking tomorrow!

I so feel a drivers vacancy coming on at Mclaren next season, have heard today that both drivers are now snubbing each other off the track as well. Poor old Ron will have his work cut out from now on in.

All I can see from this is that Alonso will respect his contract; I reckon it'll be a constructor like Ferrari who will buy Lewis Hamilton as a natural replacement for Michael Schumacher.

And then it will get VERY interesting next season...

Possible, not sure if you have heard the rumour, but from the comment there would seem that you have. Will be interesting to see if Kimi or Felipe would be the ousted driver at Ferrari. I could see Ron getting Kimi back under his wing

I was about to say Raikkonen would swap with Hamilton - maybe then Alonso wouldn't suffer from sour grapes AS MUCH!!! ;)

I know the Rugby world cup is quite a big thing but surely F1 could have stayed on ITV1 and they could have moved the New Zeland - Italy game on to ITV235908 or something :?

Well no-one would believe me that Alonso would keep in front of Hamilton - and how did the race end?

Still a couple points ahead though, is our Lewis!

Ouch... McLaren have been punished hard.

From BBC Sport

McLaren hit by constructors' ban

Lewis Hamilton and team-mate Fernando Alonso keep their points
McLaren have been stripped of their points in the 2007 Formula One constructors' championship after the outcome of the 'spygate' row.
The team was also hit with a record $100m (£49.2m) fine but drivers Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso will be allowed to keep their points.

The team must also prove there is no Ferrari 'intellectual property' in its cars next eyar before they can race.

McLaren team chief Ron Dennis is due to speak at a 1915 BST news conference.

Another Ferrari day today; Raikkonen winning the Belgian Grand Prix and Massa coming second.

Alonso finishing third ahead of Hamilton finishing fourth now means with just three races to go, the British rookie is only two points clear at the top of the Drivers Championship.

After a monsoon-themed race, everyone was under safety car regulations at first for today's Japanese Grand Prix. And for someone that doesn't have much professional experience, it is quite literally amazing that the only racer to have appeared to handled the track well was Lewis Hamilton. For that, he thoroughly deserved the maximum points!

And Fernando Alonso crashed after 42 laps, meaning the gap is now 12 points. And with only 2 races to go, all Hamilton needs to do in the next race is finish better than Alonso and he becomes the first-ever amateur professional to become World Champion!

I bet that'll happen, and he won't even need the last race!

Oh, and for the record, Kimi Raikkonen could still mathematically win the Drivers Championship after finishing second, but it is surely going to be a McLaren victory this season!

GUTTED!

We need Raikkonen to win, not Alonso now. So far it's looking that way, but will it last?

He's just planning to win it in style, in Brazil! :)

Felipe Massa I predict will win the race, so this should be easy pickings for Lewis Hamilton, but I don't wanna jinx it.

4pm tomorrow!!!
