Point Barrow is rubbish, as were all my other horses.

I hate the Grand National.

I had £1 each way on the 100/1 shot Philson Run who came 4th. Should get £26 back for that one. 8)

I had £2 each way on Clan Royal and Longshank, and my family also had a sweep where we each got 7 horses, and none of my 7 horses in the sweep finished.

I had a go and the rest of my family this time on the national, we all had a £2 per bet - but any winnings we were going to shared

The horse I picked at random by the close your eyes method was Point Barrow. The other three horses either pullup or the jockey fell off

Still there is always next year

I have a pretty good record of managing to back the horse that falls awkwardly and ends up getting destroyed... Thankfully, Le Duc avoided that fate this year, though he also appeared to do a fine job of avoiding Becher's first time round as well...
