I take it it was Senna!? ;-)

I'm half way through a book I got for xmas, called 'The life of Senna'. Great read.

Senna.

Although I was a massive Mansell fan (its what got me into F1), Senna was the one I loved to hate and its only threw getting older that I realised that it was because he was by far the best.

Just look at who was willing to be teammates with who at Williams in the early 90s when they were dominant - Mansell didn't want to be with either Prost or Senna. Prost was willing to be with Mansell but not Senna, and Senna was happy to be with anyone - that tells you everything!

That's the difference between Senna and Schumacher I have to say, Schumi always wanted a lapdog in the second Benetton/Ferrari!

As much as respect that opinion, having read The life of Senna, this proves to be wrong. :(

When he was at Lotus in '86, the team wanted Derek Warwick to be Senna's team mate, but Ayrton said the team couldn't support two stars, so Lotus hired lap dog Johnny Dumfries.

Oh yes I do know about that, but I think that was because he thought Lotus couldn't support two superstar drivers, whereas McLaren and Williams could!
