Hmmm the atmosphere has become somewhat muted now, as it has here

Ahhhh well, we'll just have to score 3 goals in 45 minutes now!! ;)

Oh well, never liked the FA Cup anyway. The Carling Cup is what it's all about.

The Liverpool result is excellent news for an Evertonian, such as me!

My law teacher is a Blackburn fan, and half of my Law class are Evertonians, so it'll be interesting when we see him on Monday morning.

Kudos to Blackburn they played really well and took their chances. Whereas Evertons finishing was absolutley dreadful as well as our defending and goalkeeping.

I think manchester united will do the League and cup double now.

Also sorry I know the quote is messed up.

Not a very exciting cup draw was it?

Normally, there's at least one stand out tie, the best there's probably Arsenal v Bolton or Man U v Portsmouth.

So far this year, I think the FA Cup draws have been truly awful. There have been no real standout ties at all, and far too many all Premiership ties, and ties where the Premiership team is at home, which ruins it for me.

I agree. Seeing Chelsea go to Macclesfield would have been much more interesting than the game at Stamford Bridge ended up being.

Anyway, I can see Bolton taking Arsenal back to the Reebok and then beating them like they always do. I hate Bolton, though. Allardyce is one of those "if we lose, let's blame the ref" idiots like Mark Hughes and Chris Coleman. I know Wenger is partial to a bit of ref-baiting too but his team play awesome football when they want to.

Chelsea to win the Cup, for me. And then Maureen will leave in the summer.

I always do an F.A Cup trail involving my team, starting from the Extra Preliminary Round. This year we were drawn at home to Tiverton in the 1st qualifying round so that's where we begin (they began there too):

1QR - Bath City 0-0 Tiverton Town
Replay - Tiverton Town 1-3 Bath City :-D
2QR - Bath City 0-0 Merthyr Tydfil
Replay - Merthyr Tydfil 3-2 Bath City
3QR - Merthyr Tydfil 2-0 Slimbridge
4QR - Maidenhead United 1-0 Merthyr Tydfil
1st Round - Stafford Rangers 1-1 Maidenhead United
Replay - Maidenhead United 0-2 Stafford Rangers
2R - Brighton & Hove Albion 3-0 Stafford Rangers
3R - West Ham United 3-0 Brighton & Hove Albion
4R - West Ham United 0-1 Watford

Watford face Ipswich in the 5th round
