I'm going for Butlers Cabin but I have noticed that some bookies are doing placings on the top 5 so I would personally go EW on a 100/1 shot like Arteea or Fundamentalist.

I usually seem to end up picking the horse that falls at Becher's and gets put down after the race. As I don't want the RSPCA on my case, I'm keeping quiet this year... (although I agree with Tom - Butler's Cabin ticks all the right boxes...)

Spooky, same as me (picked and backed before I read this thread).

I have £2.50 e/w on both of the above and a 50p reverse forecast.

Mon mome (who I picked for an each way chance yesterday :suspect: ) wins the National at 100-1 the joint biggest price ever.

A spectacular disappointment for most punters this year!

I was hoping that COD would win for the 2nd year in succession, and so nearly did! :?

Very nearly!

See what I mean about me never winning anything now, and always coming second?

Get your money on Forest for next season then, at least we'll go up in that case...

Haha!

Being an Owls follower since moving up here, I was delighted they beat Norwich...shame we couldn't fully capitalise

I had money on Silver Birch... who was doing bloody well... until it buggered it up... grrrr.

I love seeing a winner who no one expects... that was great entertainment.

Offshore Account and Black Apalachi I had done.
I nearly had the winner of the Irish National on the docket on Monday,Niche Market and refrained at the last few seconds, throught he probably wouldn't have a hope, pretty sick when he won.
Still Scottish National on Sat.,the only National I have ever picked the winner of.Twice,Young Kenny and Grey Abbey so hopefully it'll be lucky for me this year. :)
