I've taken off my smug face from the GP, as I read Mark Porter (who appears in TRD3) has died this morning after a race in the Supercar development series, and was due to race in the Bathurst 1000.
Mark lost it climbling up the mountain, spun the car, and was collected into the drivers door.

I've also read that the living legend that is Paul 'The Rat' Radisich was hospitilised after a huge accident at the end of the 210mph straight.

Not a good weekend. :(
