Why is is that whenever I see Peter Crouch he reminds me of Lofty?

Well, we're all going 'COME ON!' when he's playing at present...

I still fancy a second-round exit, whether it's to Ecuador or Germany it really won't matter.

I said the same when it was Lofty's game. I think it's because they're so tall and have dirty blonde hair.

England got out of jail and in typical England fashion the media and the fans will overreact and let the two late goals gloss over ANOTHER bad England performance. That team has major problems and won't get close to winning this competition.

I want to see England go all the way in the tournament and win it, but they need to step it up a couple of gears.

At the end of the day if someone said England would have 6 points from their opening two games then you would have been happy wouldn't you.

It's easy to criticise but this is a major tournament and the sides we have come up against so far set out to play defensively and get a point from the game. Other sides can be fired up and raise there game and we can't expect every performance to be world class. It doesn't happen.

England will not be able to show their capabilities until we play larger teams in the tournament that let us play our own game and not throw 11 men behind the ball. Then we'll be able to see if we have the potential to win the tournament......

You're right when you say England haven't reached their peak yet, but surely you must be worried about just how badly England have been playing. There's not any evidence there to suggest England will push on and get better, only the premise that "things can only get better."

As soon as England come up against a half-decent team with a tactically astute manager they are heading home IMO. 4-4-2 is not working and has to be changed if England are to progress.

They'll be praying the face Ecuador and not Germany in the next round.
