The release of the fixtures seems a good time to start this thread.
Friendlies first, quite a few of them (Sunderland have no fewer than nine). Then the season kicks off with some strange looking leagues (Hull in the Premier? Aldershot in League 2?)
And then... who knows?

Well once we have a better idea who will be where (ie if Chelsea will still have Carvalho and Lampard, etc) it'll be excellent time to start predicting! :D

I'm very happy with how the fixture list has turned out for Everton, all our tough games come in the middle of the season, with a relatively easy start and a relatively easy finish to the season.

They way it's planned out for Shrewsbury is that we have all the tough games first and then come from last (apart from Luton of course) and go on to get promoted! :D

Same for Forest; Reading first day, Swansea second match away!

At least we continue our tradition where we always start the season at home! :)

The same thing happens with Everton, we always start the season at home.

Can't wait for another summer of getting linked with about 100 players, signing 2, neither of whom I've heard of, talk of the championship, which turens to talk of fourth place around christmas time, and boardroom wranglings galore.

If only everything in life was as predictable as Liverpool FC.

And on the other side of the argument, Ronaldo is quoted to have said he is looking for a dream move forward this summer...I wonder hat he meant by that :suspect:

Steve MacClaren won't be Blackburn's new manager; he's the new manager of FC Twente! So looks like Paul Ince is gonna get the job!

Yeah...coz he put on the pounds during Christmas...that's why he was allowed to join Blackpool on loan.

He's a fast player, but he tends to pass rather than score...he's a big fellow as well so all the best with him...now all we have are Tyson and Earnshaw...with several youngsters like Sinclair now presumably able to get the chance to shine!

That's what I like about our manager Colin Calderwood - he gives youngsters a chance. Too bad though he released a good few talented ones in May :(

Still, gotta look at the positives...we still have one of the best goalies in the Football League (Paul Smith), some of the best talented young players (Kelvin Wilson, Luke Chambers, Lewis McGugan, Chris Cohen)...and still some goal machines (Nathan Tyson and Rob Earnshaw)...but I wonder if we won't be spending much more now...we coughed up nearly £3million for Earnshaw alone! :(

Paul Ince is to be unveiled as Blackburn Rovers new manager Tuesday lunchtime at a press conference after he agreed a deal with the Premier League side.

I'm looking forward to this!!!

Chelsea have completed the signing of Deco.

The question among all Chelsea fans' minds now: is Ronaldinho next?

Shrewsbury have been splashing the cash as well... £100,000 for a defender. Some people have made us favourites now

Thank god the crap that was Euro 2008 is over and we can get back to domestic football.

He was comparing a blue Mitsubishi Evo 9 and a red Suburu Impreza, and he said the Evo 9 was Chelsea, and he didn't know any rubbish red teams until the cameraman pointed out Nottingham Forest, so the Suburu Impreza was Nottingham Forest.

Completely predictable! :P

Let me think of rubbish red teams (apart from Forest ;) )...Accrington Stanley, Barnsley, Rotherham, Leyton Orient...need I go on?

He only picked Forest coz everyone knows Forest play in red, even people not into football!
