Burnley's relegation was confirmed this afternoon...

...still, could have been worse...they could have lost 7-0 to Chelsea like Stoke did!!!

Sheffield Wednesday have been relegated to League 1 this afternoon - brilliant game to watch though.

I just got back from it - it all turned nasty after the whistle when a few sneaky Sheffield United fans broke out from the home crowd and started to goad everyone...cue one massive crowd invading the pitch, the riot police coming out thick and heavy...and surely a mammoth punishment heading Wednesday's way for failure to control their fans

But hey ho! The Championship play-off semi-finals look like this:

Blackpool v Nottingham Forest
Leicester City v Cardiff City

The annual polls will be up from now...but of course the others come next weekend once we have confirmation of the League One and Two play-off pictures

After three horrible years in League One, Leeds have FINALLY won promotion back to the Championship! :D Millwall, Charlton, Swindon and Huddersfield make up the League One play-offs...but it's Gillingham who are relegated to League Two on goal difference, at Hartlepool's expense - Jeff Stelling has never been so relieved!

Grimsby have been relegated from the Football League after a 99-year stay...but the Pirelli Stadium looks set to be overwhelmed by angry Grimsby fans! Morecambe, Rotherham, Aldershot and Dagenham & Redbridge make up the League Two play-offs.

Congratulations to Chelsea for winning the Premier League after a romping 8-0 win over 10-man Wigan - Man Utd did all they could, beating Stoke 4-0 but it was not enough in the end...not to mention Rooney going off injured again...praying he'll be alright for the summer!

Kudos to Burnley; going out of the Premier League with a 4-2 win over Champions League-bound Spurs! :D

Blackpool beat Forest 4-3 on the night, 6-4 on aggregate to reach the play off final.

If Cardiff beat Leicester, we're guaranteed a team who has never been in the Premier League (in its current form) - I personally want to see Blackpool in the top flight.

Congratulations to Chelsea for completing the double, beating Portsmouth 1-0 in the FA Cup Final, and Dundee United who beat Ross County 3-0 in the Scottish Cup Final...

...but the sad news today that Swansea footballer Besian Idrizaj died in his sleep aged just 22 :(

So now the season is over, it's time to recap, and see who won this season's predictions battle...I'm going to crack on with it tomorrow for us to have a good banter about it tomorrow...before we wrap this thread up and focus on the big decision Fabio Capello makes on Tuesday regarding a certain big tournament coming up...
