Sussex win the Twenty20 cup! An absolute thrashing of Somerset... well deserved! Beer ruled that match.

Well done Sussex. Today was yet another reminder though of how much England miss Marcus Trescothick.

The selectors have some sense! (Unlike some on here :suspect: ) Ramps is kept well away from the England team so he can keep his sequins on... Trott comes in for Bopara and that is the only change...

England squad: A Strauss (capt), J Anderson, I Bell, S Broad, P Collingwood, A Cook, A Flintoff, S Harmison, G Onions, M Panesar, M Prior, R Sidebottom, G Swann, J Trott

At the Oval your looking for a first innings of at least 450 and of course England need 20 wickets... going to be fun!

Please be upstanding for our county anthem (even if the guy who created the video has made up his own words at the end...)

Disastrous session for Australia - 133/8 at tea.

It must be said that this is the most bowler friendly conditions I have ever seen at The Oval, which is traditionally a batting paradise.

England firm favourites to regain The Ashes now, extraordinary after the way they played at Headingley! :D

The Aussies must regret not playing a specialist spinner now.

To be fair, we have been helped today by some generous umpiring from Asad Rauf.

It has leveled out quite nicely....there 2 or 3 lbw's this morning that we should have had but didnt get.

3 gone already tonight showing this pitch is deadly. It's brilliant! I really need an England win before Monday otherwise I wont be able to watch the ending...

I was fortunate enough to get a ticket for this day (and yesterday, I might add), which had been a sell-out many months ago - and wow, what a day of cricket for England it was, well worth the money! I was in the Bedser Lower stand right by where the players go up the steps towards the pavilion (so I'd probably have been on the live stuff, maybe not the highlights, I'll see tomorrow  ), which provided a great view and the atmosphere was absolutely electric in the afternoon with the regular clatter of wickets (an afternoon session of 72 for 8! ).

Literally you could not take your eyes of the cricket, fantastic stuff! I've never seen anything like 15 wickets in a day before at a ground, let alone an Oval pitch usually noted for being a batter's wicket. Broad had a sensational spell, at one point 4 for 8 off 21 deliveries, and Swann had respectable figures of 4 for 38, too.

Just a extraordinary, adrenalin-pumped, rivetting day until the final ball. I am still on such a high from the gamut of emotions I experienced - let's hope we can finish the job off!

There was a Championship match at The Oval a few weeks ago which saw 9 wickets fall in 4 days with both teams scoring over 600 in their first innings, so this is a rather different Oval pitch to the norm.

So Oz need 545 runs to win... 2 days and 21 overs left.

Yeh, we did it! It was great to be a part of this wonderful Ashes victory, having been in the crowd for the first 2 days. The 2nd day especially was such a rollercoaster and undoubtedly the deciding tipping point in England's favour and where the match was won, really. After that day, there was virtually no way back for Australia, although they made a good fight of it today.

I wish I could have seen them live, I so hoped they were going to play on the Monday at Headingley.

Freddie turned the game and I hope they sort his knee out tomorrow

An amazing day and Austrailia made us believe they could make the impossible score

My thanks to both teams for an exciting Ashes series, what a rollercoaster

And thanks to the TMS team who have kept me in touch with the action :D
