Brilliant stuff from England today; very odd to not force the follow on, but who cares? We have two days to bowl Australia out! Not brilliant weather forecast for tomorrow but Monday looks decent...bring it on!

...but our lad Freddie has struck early!!! FOUR MORE WICKETS LEFT FOR VICTORY!

2 wickets to go now, and the good news is Michael Clarke is no longer there

I was nervous before play started after Clarke and Haddin built a massive partnership, but thankfully, we got there without too much difficulty this morning thanks to Freddie and Swann (who I thought was excellent).

Agreed. I think it was right to not enforce the follow on. If we had, and Australia had scored 406, hypothetical I know, but that would have left us with a target of 197 to get. Although that doesn't sound much, it's never easy chasing a target in the 4th innings, especially with the added pressure of it being an Ashes match as we saw in the 4th Test in 2005. You wouldn't have expected batsmen like Collingwood Prior and Flintoff to have played so freely as they were able to in different circumstances.

It couldn't have gone better. Simple as.

Swann was brilliant...Flintoff was simply untouchale; now way was he going to let someone else bowl in his place...he even said he wasn't going to stop until he won the match. Brilliant match!

I've just heard that they have hardly sold any tickets for the last day (plus some for the fourth day) of the upcoming test at Edgbaston and so are now offering them for £15... Soooooo now how to get the day off....

Edgbaston has been more of a batters' wicket this season so far, and The Oval always produces a dead wicket - Headingley has potential to be a bowler's paradise.

Right I am sat in The Stanley Barnes stand which is right next to the new posh stand where the Barmy Army usually are based so the atmosphere should be brilliant. I have read on some forums the block I'm in is the best view in the house so just as long as the match actually reaches day 5 it should be a corker!
