http://www.footballmanager.net/

It's coming!!! Eight weeks tomorrow, and we'll be buying the brand new Football Manager game!

This one looks amazing; follow the above link for the full list of new features.

But I'll mention two amazing features here:

-There will be a 3D pitch option to view as well as limited player animations. This is in addition to the usual 2D option.

-For the first time ever, you can be a FEMALE manager, and have FEMALE staff (this includes referees! :D)

Once it comes out, I'll naturally be getting my copy and hoping NB, Tom and Sols all do so as well. Anyone else who is a fan of the game, also get it, and we'll see if we'll have any better luck setting up a DoND.co.uk League! (we failed rather EPICALLY last year!)

The new features look good, press conferences/media relationship has been in FIFA Manager for a while, but 3D pitch is certainly the best new feature.

Will have to run two versions then as I do tend to migrate towards running Irish teams (Family from Ireland) or can Irish teams compete in the big league

Well they can, but the biggest teams (Glentoran etc) are still as tiny as Shrewsbury in comparison to English clubs so... :smt047

Can't wait until this comes out. The new features look quality.

Me and my mates are planning to go down Tesco at 7am to all get our copies before college. Think they'll be sold out after we buy them, there's loads of us going.

I'm getting mine on the day too, so once both you and NB have it, let us know and we'll sort out a league and pray it doesn't fail epically this time!

Only three weeks tomorrow now!

3 weeks on Friday to correct you. I hope we can get a decent league going this year. Although I think NB might have the advantage if he picks Sunderland.

I'm going to be sad and compare Grant Holt's stats from FM2008 (when at Forest) and on this new game and see if he really is worth £170,000 :suspect:

I know! There's always the Data Editor *mumble mumble*

I say the Tuesday coz I got it three days early in Game last couple years now! If I see it out early again this year, I'll put it on here!

I got FM08 from Game for £8 earlier loaded it up and everything works!! (So far!) So when FM09 comes out apparently I can give it back and they'll give me £8 off it... plus I'll be pretty sure it works!

Anyway you have to use an Internet-based program such as STEAM to install the game to your computer...and it's taking forever coz it's as popular a program as FrostWire is!

OK I've been playing on it for the last hour...it's a lot better than FM2008 and I'd call it the perfect football management simulation ever...had it not been for the fact that you have to use an internet registration program like STEAM to run it every time...it doesn't install directly onto your machine! :(

And because of that, there's no Data Editor :P
