Last night, Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar broke the Premier League record for the most minutes without conceding a goal - it is now more than 1,000 minutes and stretches over 11 games.
And today, Ryan Giggs was asked to compare him to the biggest goalkeeping legend in the club's history: Peter Schmeichel - but he refused to compare them, stating they are both good goalkeepers.
If you had to pick, which would you choose?
I know the more traditional vote would go to Schmeichel but the fact is, ever since he joined United in 2005 van der Sar has become world class...and bearing in mind he was already 34 when he joined United, that is incredible for him to peak so late in his career.
The only other goalie I could relate that to is Brad Friedel, who is also 38 and in his best form! But he's not at a world class football club!
