Well it's been the main talking point this week...during Chelsea's League Cup defeat to Burnley, Didier Drogba scored to put the Blues in front...only for his goal celebrations to be interrupted by a coin thrown at him by a Burnley fan. Drogba stuck his middle finger up at the crowd before throwing the coin back into the crowd. He received a mere yellow card for his actions, and play was resumed. The following day, the police received an official complaint and has since been involved, as has the FA. Drogba has since apologised for throwing the coin back into the crowd.

Jamie Carragher did something similar a few years back, and was heavily punished for it. So what is your opinion of the matter this time around? Should Drogba get an additional punishment from the FA and police? Or should he just be warned and the matter dropped?

My opinion is that two wrongs don't make a right, and any form of missile throwing, whether it be from a player or a fan, should be dealt with both internally by the club, and by the FA. And if the police are involved, then as with Carra a few years back, be handed a further punishment

The latest is that the FA have charged him with violent conduct.

He had no right to throw the coin, even if he had it thrown at him. He should have picked it up and pointed it out to the ref.
