The footballing world is getting hit by the credit crunch, but no football club has been hit anywhere near as greatly as West Ham.
Their owners are Icelandic, and bearing in mind their currency isn't exactly good anymore, they're really struggling in Iceland! The Hammers owners have confessed they are severely in debt. And now they are being chased for another £50million that they don't have, by Sheffield United!
Is it all over for them? Administration is imminent in my opinion so it's a bloody good job they've made such a bright start to the season coz with a 10 point deduction, they're going to be fighting for their lives both on and off the pitch this season!
But there is a small chance they will get to sell the club in time before the dreaded administration rule is passed.
