Here's this season's edition, and here's the site for it: http://www.fixturelist.com/leagueinfo.php?l=2266

View the league tables at http://www.fixturelist.com/leaguetables.php?l=2266

I'll still be posting everything up here, but that's basically just for results. A results archive, if you will.

With there being four divisions, scorer data is not available unless I trawl through several pages of FM 08 data each matchday. (I got it easier in 2007 because the results for the division appeared in the main match screen, under a tab.)

The first fixture is scheduled to take place on Saturday 5th January.
The last fixture will be on Saturday 10th May, the cup final.

Here's how it looks:

LEAGUE ONE
Everton
Liverpool
Tottenham
Rangers
Man U
Arsenal
Celtic
Chelsea

LEAGUE TWO
Sunderland
Southampton
Newcastle
Crystal Palace
Blackburn
Birmingham
Aston Villa
Man City

LEAGUE THREE
QPR
Ipswich
Wolves
Brighton
Leeds
Nott'm Forest
Notts County
Barnsley

LEAGUE FOUR
Altrincham
AFC Wimbledon
Shrewsbury
Bognor
Hayes and Yeading
Plymouth
Carlisle
Wrexham

It's Cup week. Unlike last year, all the teams are together in the competition.

Round One fixtures:

Wolves v Everton
Birmingham v Newcastle
Hayes and Yeading v Liverpool
Carlisle v Southampton
Celtic v Man City
Altrincham v Bognor
Chelsea v Leeds
Shrewsbury v AFC Wimbledon
Crystal Palace v Rangers
Brighton v Ipswich
Man Utd v Wrexham
Aston Villa v Barnsley
QPR v Nott'm Forest
Blackburn v Notts County
Sunderland v Arsenal
Plymouth v Tottenham

Of course, Sunderland had to get a First Division team.

Well, I've been trying to avoid posting this for a while, but I've got to do it. The fact is, my copy of FIFA Manager is completely *beep*ed up. I've tried all I can for the past month and a half, but to no avail. Reinstallation, virus checks and God knows what else have failed to fix it, and I have finally been forced to admit defeat. I will be looking at ways to resurrect the League (maybe stretch it out over the close season), so if anyone has any ideas, please post them in here. (I'm thinking of using Football Manager and editing one of the leagues.)

It's taken me almost a month, but I've found the problem. Apparently it happens with all leagues of eight teams or less, so it won't work. I will be bringing back the one division scheme and I will resurrect this project overwriting the Premiership in CM 01/02 (which is my prefered game and I have a Feb 08 update for it). The teams are the same as last season, with the addition of Sheff Wed, Bath, Altrincham and Cardiff. Matches every Saturday and Wednesday, finishing on May 24. The first matches are tonight.

I've done a half-season simulation (basically, I went 'on holiday' in CM until each team had played each other once) to try and predict the table. This is what I got:

Oh dear at Bath City...

Loving fixturelist.com by the way, that could be useful for something totally unrelated... ;)

I've already generated the fixtures, and you can't add your own to that site. I do have quite a good piece of software though, it's free, gives you stats and can make predictions.
