It's almost the end of the season, and some of these are really close...

(Name-P-Pts)
Premier
Code:
16 Reading    34 32
17 Birmingham 34 31
-------------------
18 Bolton     34 29
19 Fulham     34 27
R Derby      34 11

I think this one's over. Bolton and Fulham just aren't good enough.

Championship

Code:
1 Stoke      43 72
2 West Brom  42 71
-------------------
3 Bristol C  43 71
4 Hull City  42 69
5 Watford    43 69
6 Crystal P  43 65
-------------------
7 Ipswich    43 64
8 Wolves     41 62
9 Charlton   43 61
10 Cardiff    42 60
11 Sheff Utd  43 60
12 Plymouth   42 59

18 Blackpool  43 50
19 So'ton     43 50
20 Sheff Wed  43 49
21 Coventry   43 49
-------------------
22 Leicester  43 48
R Scun+horpe 43 39
R Colchester 43 37

The league no-one wants to win. If you're not trying for the playoffs, you're fighting against relegation. Expect a lot more changes in the table.

League One

Code:
P Swansea    43 86
2 Carlisle   43 79
-------------------
3 Doncaster  43 76
4 Nott'm For 43 73
5 Southend U 43 72
6 Leeds Utd  42 67 (-15)

20 Crewe      43 44
-------------------
21 Gillingham 43 44
22 Bou'mouth  43 41
R Port Vale  43 36
R Luton Town 43 33

Well done Martinez - up at the first attempt. I can't see anyone else making the play-offs, especially if Leeds get their fifteen points back. For relegation, it's a bit uncertain, I think Gillingham are down but Bournemouth have been fantastic recently.

League Two
Code:
1 Franchise  42 89
2 Peterboro  43 86
3 Hereford   41 78
-------------------
4 Stockport  42 78
5 Darlington 43 74
6 Rochdale   42 72
7 Wycombe    42 69
-------------------
8 Ches'field 43 67

22 Dagenham   43 43
-------------------
23 Mansfield  43 39
24 Wrexham    43 34

This one's about over too - Mansfield can't make up that difference and a pasting by Shrewsbury has put Wrexham on the brink of non-League football, and the games in hand at the top could make for a good ending to the season. Pity that Franchise FC had to go up... :(

Conference

Code:

C Aldershot  42 97
-------------------
2 Torquay U  41 82
3 Cambridge  43 77
4 Stevenage  43 76
5 Exeter C   42 75
-------------------
6 Burton Alb 42 74

18 Altrincham 44 40
19 Farsley C  42 39
20 Halifax Tn 42 38 (-10)
-------------------
21 Weymouth   42 38
22 Northwich  42 38
R Stafford R 42 22
R Droylsden  41 22

Aldershot are up. Well done to them, they were sent down about six divisions in 1992 because they went bust, now they're back where they were after sixteen long years. Torquay are in the playoffs, but watch out the rest. Burton won't want to give up easily. As for relegation, well, commiserations to Steve Bull, his first ever win as a manager wasn't enough. Elsewhere though, it's pick two out of five. don't count Altrincham out yet either - they've played two more games than the rest but just two points more to show for it.

I think it is safe to say *beep* are gone too.

Bolton have a tough run in, so I suspect they will be relegated, along with Fulham.

Sadly, I think Wrexham are down now, there's no way they can make up that difference.
