It's taken me almost a month, but I've found the problem. Apparently it happens with all leagues of eight teams or less, so it won't work. I will be bringing back the one division scheme and I will resurrect this project overwriting the Premiership in CM 01/02 (which is my prefered game and I have a Feb 08 update for it). The teams are the same as last season, with the addition of Sheff Wed, Bath, Altrincham and Cardiff. Matches every Saturday and Wednesday, finishing on May 24. The first matches are tonight.

I've done a half-season simulation (basically, I went 'on holiday' in CM until each team had played each other once) to try and predict the table. This is what I got:

Oh dear at Bath City...

Loving fixturelist.com by the way, that could be useful for something totally unrelated... ;)

I've already generated the fixtures, and you can't add your own to that site. I do have quite a good piece of software though, it's free, gives you stats and can make predictions.

Mr Blobby is fond of exercise, and encourages you all to do 30 minutes of rigorous activity each and every day.

And yes, the activity you're thinking of *can* be part of the 30 minutes.

OK, this is also broken. My savegame is corrupt. I now have three options for the game:

1) Abandon the project altogether
2) Use FIFA Manager 07 (as was used last season)
3) Attempt to find another decent manager game.

I'll keep you posted.
