Flippin hell, Forest without a single win so far this season; a draw today.

They have Villa away in the League Cup as well! Jeez!

Serves you right for supporting a rubbish club such as Forest.

I never thought I'd see the day...

Steve McClaren has recalled Emile Heskey to the England squad!

Don't get me wrong, since moving to Wigan he's played well, but I never expected him to earn an England recall, not since his last outing was in the Euro 2004 qualifiers!

First major shock of the season was Sunderland beating Spurs; here's the second one:

Aston Villa 2-0 Chelsea

The one place Chelsea hasn't won in eight seasons now! What a result! And that also means that the 'Pool are still top of the Premier League!

Everton I can see them doing well in Europe if not the Premier League.

Now they have Johnson AND Yakubu, think of all the goals they'll score between them - and when Vaughan starts playing again - it's a painful thought if you're a Kop fan!

I wonder what shirt Vaughan will get, as Yakubu has taken Vaughan's number. We should get through to the group stage, but I fear there are too many good teams in our group to progress any further.

Greeny is gonna be even happier:

Joleon Lescott has been called up to the England squad!

And so has Ashley Young!

Yes. Why you ask? Please tell me you're not a Rams fan, I thought we was getting along :( lol!

Who do you support, Sam?

I'd guess that Plymouth would be a strong possibility.

Just read her earlier post; looks like it - phew!

Thought I'd have to sever all friendliness with Sam there for a minute ;)

What do you think about Lescott finally getting an England call-up, Greeny?

It's about time Lescott got a call up, he's been awesome for us this season. That makes 3 Everton players in the England squad, Lescott, Johnson and our captain, Phil Neville.

No, I've just got fond memories of a trip to Forest. April 9th 2005 when we won 3-0 and all but sent you down.

Yeah, then we beat Burnley the week after and everyone stupidly thought we'd stay up after that...until Furlong shut us up at Loftus Road the weekend after :(

Dark times for the club, but can I just say WOW to Leeds - a win on Saturday and in just FIVE games, they'll have overturned the 15-point deficit!

Brighton and Hove Albion with a superb 3-0 win over Millwall last night means the Seagulls are now up to 4th in League 1.

And Forest don't play today because we have players away on internationals :(

Speaking of internationals, if there was ever a football match England had to win, today is it!

You reckon they'll do it?

I think it'll be a draw.

By some sort of coincidence, our football team, rugby team and cricket team will all be playing at 5 today.
