Well they are a goal down... they are wearing the wrong sort of clothes and now they are completely doomed... (again from BBC Sport)

1536: Chelsea have only won this match when a male solo artist has been on top of the charts - Slim Whitman (1955), Robbie Williams (2000) and James Blunt (2005). Clearly Keri Hilson's role in Timbaland's 'The Way I Are' is counting against them.

My friend wins at the bookies for correctly predicting Malouda would score on his debut!

Great stats Tom! Don't diss 'The Way I Are' though, sounds like it might do Manchester United a favour! ^_^

And if anyone is wondering why John Terry isn't playing, he is out of the England internationals and all football for the next month after damaging his medial ligaments in his knee! Ouch!

We're the Red and Blue Army!

Go on you Palace, 'ave it!!!

What a fantastic game we had against the saints, and the atmosphere was amazing - I lost my voice, got flung around by strangers, got soaked in water - best away game I've been to for a long time!!

:-D :-D :-D :-D

Oh I'm so glad the football season's back!! I've bloomin missed it!

It was a good win - I saw the highlights!

I'm sure it even made Simon Jordan happy, and that is saying something these days!

First managerial casualty of the season is Carlisle's Neil McDonald!!!

Just one game in and he's been sacked! Jeez!

And there's us thinking it would have been Chris Hutchings!

I reckon something behind the scenes went on there. After two succesive promotions, they came 8th last year and got a good away point yesterday.

Well plenty of shocks in the competition already; the biggest one came on Monday night when Southampton got knocked out of the cup by Peterborough thanks to a Grzegorz Rasiak own goal! HAHAHAHAHA!
