The rules of this is very similar to the original spin-star game, only with a few updates:
There's 22 boxes, 20 of them containing the usual amounts, Spin1 (which replaces the £3,000) and Spin2 (which replaces the £10,000). Spin1's value starts off at £1,000 and Spin2's value will start off at £5,000.
Before each offer you'll spin 4 different reels, for which you pick four numbers between 1 and 10. The first reel determines a question category for you, the second reel determines a banker, and the third reel will determine the value of a correct answer for each reel.
Question Category
All questions be will Deal or No Deal trivia questions. Here are the 4 categories: CONTESTANTS, OFFERS, THE BANKER and DOND ABROAD. The question will either be an EASY question, a DIFFICULT question, or a BRAIN BUSTER (DOND ABROAD and OFFERS only). All questions are multiple choice (EASY having 3 possible answers, DIFFICULT having 4, and BRAIN BUSTER having 5). Once the question is posted, you will only have 10 minutes to post the answer (so that you won't have a huge amount of time to search for the answer). If you do not post the answer within 10 minutes it automatically counts as a wrong answer.
Value of each reel
If you get the question correct, the number spun on reel 3 will be added to SPIN1 and the number spun on reel 4 will be added to SPIN2. If you get it wrong, 50% of the question's value will be taken away from the box's value. Here are the values for each reel:
Real 3: £100 £500 £750 £1,000 £3,000 £5,000 £10,000 £20,000 £35,000 BANK BUSTER
Reel 4: £500 £1,000 £3,000 £5,000 £10,000 £20,000 £50,000 £100,000 DOUBLER (doubles the current value of the box) BANK BUSTER
You want to avoid the bank busters, as they will add nothing to the box value if you give a correct answer but they will crash the value the box to NOTHING if you give an incorrect answer!
Also, if both Spin1 and Spin2 are removed before 5 box, I will make the median amount (the lower one in case of an even number of boxes) on the board worth the combined value of Spin1 and Spin2 and have you play both Reels 3 and 4 to change it's value (and that amount will will called Spin3). If BANK BUSTER shows up in one window, then you will play to increase the box value just by the amount on the 2nd window with it's value still becoming NOTHING if you get it wrong. If bank buster shows up in both windows, the box will automatically be worth NOTHING with no questions asked.
The Banker
The banker's generosity will be determined by reel 2, with 10 different bankers -
DILAN NOVEMBER 2005 BANKER MARCH 2006 BANKER FEBRUARY 2007 BANKER SEPTEMBER 2008 BANKER NOVEMBER 2010 BANKER JANUARY 2012 BANKER JULY 2013 BANKER FEBRUARY 2014 BANKER AUGUST 2014 BANKER
The months will make you an offer similar to what you would have been offered for your board if you'd played then, Dilan will make you an offer based on Dilan04's behaviour - ie. overreactions to all-red and all-blue rounds and near-mean final offers.
BOX 23
After the main game is over, you will the opportunity to make Box 23 a more favourable bet. You may choose to play with the standard Box 23 or answer one final question for the opportunity to purchase the deluxe Box 23 instead, but if you get it wrong you will stuck with the lousy French Box 23.
Deluxe Box 23: QUADRUPLE DOUBLE +£20,000 HALF 10%
(Lousy) French Box 23: DOUBLE MONEY BACK NOTHING
The question will be of Brain Buster difficulty, though.
Sounds complicated, but I promise it will be easier as you play it. So, who wants to play first?
